Fujifilm Finepix J10 8.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Matte Black)I bought this camera for wife so she would have small camera to carry around with her on vacation. While the pictures it takes will never be mistaken for pics taken with a DSLR, the results are generally very good. It's also very simple to use. If you're the type of person that is going to "pixel peep", or be upset about "noise" at a high ISO, then this probably isn't the camera for you. Then again, no camera for around $100 is going to make you happy. If you want an inexpensive, small camera to just take pictures, then this camera is an excellent choice. It's a small, no-frills, to the point, point and shoot. It also seems very well built, and the 2.5" screen is acceptable for a camera at this price.
The camera itself probably rates about 4 stars, but I give it 5 stars at its price point.

Fujifilm Finepix Z20fd 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Ice Blue)Although I researched and bought this camera as primarily a good point-and-shoot still camera, however, this also takes very good videos.
Here is a sample raw, unedited video file straight from this camera's memory card of a dim low light dance ballroom (camera was on a tripod).(Update: This is video from the famous Champion Ballroom Academy, in San Diego, Calif.)
Note: this uploaded Amazon video has "pops" and "gaps" and probably due to Amazon condensing my original large 18MB video to a smaller condensed 2MB Flash video format. However my original 18MB video does not have these "pops" and "gaps", and my original video sounds very clear and looks very good.
+ I wanted a convenient Point-and-Shoot camera, that specifically did not have a lens that comes out and in out of the camera, since it causes a "delay" waiting, while turning on, and also turning off the camera. The nice sliding cover of this camera protects and turns this camera instantly on and off (and without any delay like other cameras with external outside zoom lens). It has 3X Optical Zoom "inside" the camera, and is called "protected zoom", and which stays inside the slim camera at all times.(Also has additional switchable on/off "Digital" zoom.) Also, my Fuji will not get the "Lens Error, Restart Camera" ("e18" error) that outside zooming lens Canon camera may get.
+ This takes good MPEG-4 videos with monaural audio.Has separate push button for still camera, and a separate push button for video.
+You do not need to buy "xD" memory cards. This works with my SD memory cards and the SD cards do not stick out of the camera, and the SD card lid closes nicely over the SD card.(I always buy, and this works with my higher speed and lifetime warranty SD cards ofKingston Pro 2GB, and SanDisk Ultra II 2GB cards).
+Very small camera.Size is: 3 1/2 inch wide; 2 1/8 inch high; 13/16 inch thick.
+ Solidly built, and does not feel cheap.
+ Has Automatic Red Eye Removal, which is what everyone needs, because generally every brand of camera's white flash light can cause the "red eye".

Update November 2008.
This is still a good camera, and I like it.I like that this camera does NOT have to physically zoom out the lens, so that means that I will never get the "E18" error meaning camera zoom lens is stuck, and unusable of the other brands cameras. Also, once I slide open the lens cover, this camera is ready to take pictures (and not have to wait, like other brands physical zoom in and out cameras).

Still 5 Stars.
